The decoration of the new house is a big project, and the bathroom decoration has to work harder. The bathroom is a watery place. If you don't work hard, it may lead to the falling off of wall tiles, which is very annoying. So when we decorate the bathroom, we should pay more attention to the so-called prevention in the future.
1, soak more water before tiles are laid
The bathroom will be a relatively humid space, which will have a greater impact on the dry material itself. For example, tiles and floor tiles, which need to be treated by soaking water, the soaking time should be prolonged before they are laid, in order to make the water close to saturation. In this way, when bonding ceramic tiles, there will be no water absorption from cement because the ceramic tiles are too dry, and there will be no phenomenon that cement bonding is not firm and the hollowing and falling off will occur.
2. Clean up the base before tiling tiles
If there are decorations such as latex paint, limestone, wallpaper on the wall, or dirt on the ground, then it must be cleaned up, otherwise it is easy to cause cement mortar and the base of the bond is not strong, resulting in separation; In addition, if there is a crack in the wall itself, do not do a proper treatment to stick bricks, it is difficult to ensure that the wall will not crack in the future because of the wall structure cracks caused by cracks. In the case of falling, the wall with large difference in evenness or verticality must be leveled with cement mortar before being laid.
3. Floor paving when tile is laid on toilet
The floor tiles should be laid from inside to outside, and the wall tiles should be laid from bottom to top. For the sake of beauty, the bottom tiles should be posted. After the wall tiles are pasted, the floor tiles are pressed. The uncoated floor tiles are laid on the ground. After hammering, the cement slurry is coated with the floor tiles and laid on the ground. The diagonal positions of the four tiles are even. One side of the wall can not be attached to the top at one time in order to prevent the tile from falling because of its heavy weight. Do not trample on tiles for a short time after they have been laid.
4. Bathroom wall tiles should be fully immersed in water
Wall tiles have a high moisture content. Before placing bricks, the base should be fully watered wet. Otherwise, the moisture in mortar may be absorbed quickly by dry base and ceramic tiles, thus affecting their bonding fastness. Otherwise, the wall brick will absorb water from the cement, so that the cement can not play the role of adhesives.
